Back at it, Brian and Zach discuss the disappointing end to the basketball season and debate what the future holds for the Hawkeye basketball team. But Zach and Brian don't dwell on the hardwood for long, as hope springs eternal because the gridiron Hawks are back on the field with spring practice. The guys discuss the spring two-deeps, the off-season weight gains (good news, Wadley has cracked the 190 threshold!), and their hopes and expectations for the spring season. Last (and probably least), what would an off-season podcast be without a check-in on the WWE, this time with a brief preview of WrestleMania (hosted, in part, by former Iowa defensive tackle, Ettore Ewen a/k/a Big E - so yes, it's Iowa football related-ish).

With the 2017 national signing day in the rear-view mirror, Brian and Zach get together to discuss the 2017 Hawkeye recruiting class. Brian and Zach discuss the impact of A.J. Epenesa (the clear headliner of the class), analyze and break down their personal favorite signees, and project potential sleepers from the class. They also debate the other big topic of the week - the (re)hiring of Ken O'Keefe as the new QB coach. It looks as though what is old is new again in Iowa City. You will also hear live score updates from Iowa's 81-70 basketball victory over the Cornhuskers. Last, but certainly not least, with a hat tip to the Go Iowa Awesome guys, Brian and Zach give their thoughts on this year's WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view!

After healing their wounds for almost a month following the Outback Bowl, Brian and Zach return to offer up their thoughts on Greg Davis' "retirement" (spoiler alert: Brian is happy), the hiring of Brian Ferentz as his replacement, and other coaching changes on the horizon. Brian and Zach also discuss some player personnel changes, highlighted by a discussion of the return of Akrum Wadley (spoiler alert: Zach is even more bullish than Brian on Wadley in 2017 - how is that possible?).

Brian and Zach finally get back in the 4DT recording studio to bring you their thoughts heading into the Outback Bowl against Florida on January 2, 2017.
Four Downs of Big Plays! Brian and Zach discuss the quick-strike offense that overwhelmed the Cornhuskers on Black (and Gold) Friday and reflect on an 8-4 season that was at various times disappointing, underwhelming, and exciting. Brian and Zach look at what is coming back in 2017 and get into a heated discussion about who will be missed more – CJB or Desmond King (but they both agree that Jaleel Johnson will be the biggest loss, both in stature and position of need). Thanks for sticking with the 4DT podcast this season, but there is also breaking news this episode that the guys expect to be back for another season next year, as well as throughout the offseason.

Zach and Brian sit down with Ryan Brauer, Nebraska fan and former player, for the final Conversation with the Enemy for 2016. Ryan gives the guys the inside scoop on Husker football in 2016, what Friday's game holds for the QB situation (hint, it won't be Tommy Frazier under center), and even trades a couple of jokes about Iowa and Nebraska.

How about Four Downs of...It Wasn't a Dream, We Still Won!! Brian and Zach break down Iowa’s huge 14-13 win over Michigan and in doing so cover such important topics such as, which No. 16 is our favorite, whether CJ got his helmet back, and our final take on Coluzzi-gate and whether his tumbling act was an elaborate fake or a bad snap gone wrong. The guys obviously were unable to hide their excitement in the RAW reaction to the game this past weekend, and this 4DT breakdown features a much more upbeat analysis, but don’t worry, there is still criticism for that passing game. Oh, and Akrum Wadley – he is good.

Four Downs of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Once again, Brian and Zach had trouble finding positives after a bad loss at PSU. Was it the most embarrassing loss of the Kirk Ferentz era? Brian and Zach debate that and look ahead to the biggest challenge of the season - staying competitive against the No. 3 Michigan Wolverines.

Four Downs of Preparing for the Home Stretch. Four Downs of Self Therapy. Heading into the bye week and without a RAW reaction over the weekend to work through the loss, Brian and Zach do some soul searching on where to go from here following a disappointing 17-9 loss to the Wisconsin Badgers. They do find a couple of bright spots to discuss, including the defense’s performance over the weekend and Desmond King’s season-long journey to repeat as the Thorpe Award winner. Not surprisingly, however, they also find plenty of negatives to analyze, primarily the state of Greg Davis’ offense – spoiler alert: it’s not pretty.
